MISSION STATEMENT To provide enriching programs that introduce children to theater and drama while striving to increase their self esteem, confidence, and interpersonal skills. Education – We will provide a high quality theatrical program for all children coupled with a history of theater arts. Fun – We will make learning and acting a fun and entertaining process for children. HISTORY Young Actors Theater Company was started in the spring of 2010 by Ms. Amy Kamarainen. Wanting to share her love of drama and theater, Ms. Kamarainen started an after school drama club at her daugters' school. The program was met with huge enthusiaim and was an overwhelming success. Ms. Kamarainen quickly realized she had a great opportunity to provide a much needed program to the community and used her background in business and theater to make it happen. Origially practicing at the elementray schools, in the spring of 2011 YATC moved into its current location. YATC's new space offers a 400 seat theater, several class rooms, storage and office space. This new space has allowed YATC to expand its programs and add additional classes.
